The faceted panel is comprised of dozens of variable sized crevices and pockets, the sharp angles mimic rock cracks found in nature and store water for longer periods between tidal fluctuations, thereby reducing risk of species desiccation. The facets in the panel create variable shading on the surface of the panel as well as provide shade and refuge for species behind the panel, particularly when placed adjacent to one another in a series. Each panel measures 1800mm high x 900mm wide.
