Hosted by the Trust for Governors Island and installed in collaboration with OBJECT TERRITORIES, Rensselaer Architecture, Fort Miller Precast and A&A Crane & Rigging, 14 intertidal riprap units and 8 seawall panels were installed for Climate Week NYC. The riprap units and panels are designed to mitigate wave energy and create new habitat conditions in New York City’s tidal estuary.
