The Deep Hexagonal Basin is designed to be mounted on vertical or steeply sloped seawall. The reservoir holds water, creating a marine habitat basin - or alternatively a planter for salt tolerant species. The microhabitats on the surface provide refuge from heat and predation for marine species. When multiple units are installed together they form a varied texture and series of different habitats due to the variable orientation of the basin.
