The Hexagon Tile is designed for use on existing sloping seawall or boulders. The hexagon units have a reservoir at both the top and bottom side of the unit, which stores water to create a small tidal pool, similar to a rocky shore, and provides shading underneath the tile. The microhabitats on the surface provide refuge for marine species and easy settlement onto the units.
